PETS ARE LESS EXPENSIVE! They're easier to paint and don't require as much time- so I think the pricing should reflect this.

Other sizes are available at comparable pricing.

Add 40% for each additional subject. Add 20% for a detailed background. 

Prices apply to orders placed on or before Septemberl 30, 2007.

Orders needed by Christmas 2007 should be placed by November 1, or a 15% rush charge will apply.

TERMS:

50% deposit required when order is placed. Balance due at time of delivery. Client may choose to approve a print of the work in progress or view the portrait on the internet at an intermediary stage for approval. Portrait design is my specialty, and I will not create an inferior work of art, therefore if the reference photos supplied to me are not good enough to create a beautiful portrait, I must reject the commission or ask for better sources. All photos will be returned in the same condition as they were received. The Artist reserves the copyright to the image created and the right to display images of the Artwork in her portfolio and to publish them in trade magazines. Any changes after approval will incur additional charges, the cost of which will be determined by how extensive the changes.

All portraits are shipped unframed* via Priority Mail in a reinforced box. Insurance is required. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer.

*Framing is available at an additional cost.

ARTIST’S NOTE:

My prices are reasonable for the quality of work you receive. I strive to represent the subject(s) in a favorable light and flattering position. Although I recommend a minimum size of 16 x 20 for portraits, I understand that many people prefer a smaller size. Larger sizes have more impact and portraits look best when the subject is painted in life or near-life size. I use only the best materials and quality paint, insuring a painting that will last for generations and one that is sure to become a family heirloom. A portrait is an investment and cannot be compared to a photograph, which is merely an image of a person. Fine portraits withstand the test of time and add drama to your home and decor.

As an artist, I reserve the right to suggest and make changes to the reference material supplied.
